Support sources
- The first place you should look for Help is the Manual. One is released
with each version of syn (started from 2.1.0.46 and 3.0.0.3). The up-to-date
version is available here. You can also
click on the Online Manual entry of the Help category on the left menu.
- The FAQ gives you an answer for a lot of common questions. The Manual also has a
FAQ section. The online FAQ is a the moment badly arranged (due to the lack of time ;-), but maybe you can find something there.
- Maybe you should have a look whether there is a newer version
of the program, we're always fixing some bugs.
- Then there is a list with the most serious
problems and
feature lacks,
maybe you can find there your request.
- It could sometimes be useful to read the History List (the list of changes) to
get some information.
- If you want to ask a question, then you can search the list archives or send a
mail to the Syn Users Mailinglist - maybe there are other users with a similar
problem.
- If you want to be informed how the development is going on, subscribe to the Syn Developers Mailinglist.
- You can add a
support request or write to the Syn
forums.
We will do our best to help you, but you should keep in mind, that Syn
developers are many times less than Syn users, and they are occupied with
implementing of new features and fixing of bugs too. If your support or feature
request is not processed enough quickly, you may decide support this
project somehow - support for support - maybe this will help us to have more
time for your request.
